Is the color appropriate for the windows?

Just want to start light sanding and painting my wood windows.

So I have been looking for a rosewood color. Which matches 1:1 with the lid picture to my window color.

Now I open the can (see pictures) and suddenly the color is much brighter. It looks almost orange when stained.

Question: Is the paint still darkening or did they slip me the wrong jar?
