Our apartment was completely renovated. This involved replacing all the windows and plastering the interior walls.

Since I would like to do the painting myself, I am wondering if I need to do an acrylic joint around the window frame, or if this is usually done.

The plaster fits perfectly around the window frame, so there is actually no visible "joint". The windows are part wood, part plastic. The holes were partly covered with Fermacell, partly with sheet iron, and then plastered.
