Replace old entrance door – How to install new?

I have a question regarding replacement of my old somewhat warped front door. Namely, my old frame is 70mm wide, the front door I have now chosen is 90mm. So I need 20mm more space. Do I go inside, where there are tiles on the floor, for example, or outside where the facade is with 60mm insulation? I have two different offers from installers and one would just go inside and one to the outside. Which makes more sense? Or should I keep looking and see if I can find a door with a nearly 70mm wide frame?
