What is the perfect tile size for a bathroom?

The salesman showed me floor tiles for the bathroom, toilet, hallway, kitchen, and wall tiles for the bathroom, which I liked. But they are very large:

Floor: 60 x 60 cm; thickness: 10 mm

Bathroom wall: 43 x 120 cm ; thickness: 10 mm

Advantage:

— Square tiles do not have the same stretching effect in an elongated hallway

— larger wall tiles, especially in showers --> fewer joints --> less problems with uneven joints

Are there also disadvantages?
