Our tiler asked us if we wanted pre-cut baseboards or, alternatively, would prefer to order some more tiles and then the tiler would cut the baseboards himself.
We sat there perplexed and didn't know what to do, especially since there was no sample. The tile is a 20x120 wood-look tile. The advantage of prefinished baseboards: rounded edges with the look of wood. Disadvantage: somewhat more expensive
With trimmed skirting boards, only the edge of the tile would be visible, but it is barely noticeable (similar color tone).
What do you think? Can we do without the rounded edges?
