Which front door is the strongest protection against burglary?
Revision 1
We chose a condominium that is currently under construction. The developer offers some special requests as catalog options for an additional fee. A secure front door to the condo is very important to us, especially since the condo is in an attic.
Standard door standard RC2 with mortise lock and 1-point locking.
For an additional fee (about 1,500 euros), it is possible to install a door of the RC3 standard. Among other things, it has a multi-point lock with 2 pivot bolts.
As far as I could find out, the RC3 standard has a few extra features (the door has to be thicker, have a latch, etc.), so the extra fee should be worth it, right?
Alternatively, I could, of course, choose the cheaper RC2 door and install a deadbolt. Perhaps someone can say something about this, which in general should be more secure. The RC4 door is not offered by the developer.
