What are the solutions for the downspout at the roof of the terrace with a canopy?
Revision 1
We want to have a canopy installed for our terrace.
Unfortunately, we have a downpipe on one side (and not flush with the end of the terrace, but about 50 cm further forward).
It is possible to make the roofing up to the downpipe?
Then there would be no problems with the roofing and the automated awning that will be installed directly underneath (to extend and retract). But it has about a 60/70cm terrace which is not covered...we do not want to.
The 2nd option is to make the roofing to the end of the terrace. No problem for the roofing itself (the glass can be cut) but for the automated awning. This one could be made from the width then only up to the downpipe (then the roofing goes over the whole terrace but not the sail) or you start with the sail about 10 cm from the house wall, so that you have practically under the roofing only 10/15cm no sun sail. Does not look good either.
Does anyone have similar problems or better suggestions than those mentioned? Both solutions are not optimal, unfortunately the one with the downpipe has not been planned well.
