Underfloor heating can be used for more than just a few hours.

Its consumption is much lower than other systems because it doesn't heat the water to more than 40 degrees, but you do have to heat the floor to keep it warm, and that's not achieved in half an hour,

Depending on how cold the floor is and how cold the room is, it can take more than 24 hours to reach 20 degrees.

If you want to get warm in a short time, you need to install radiators that heat up to 60 degrees and you can get a warm house in one to two hours.

Put heating through the ceiling, it doesn't work properly, you need more water temperature, you have to insulate all the electrical wiring that goes through the suspended ceiling because the temperature will be very high in the suspended ceiling, even if you have lots of vents, unless you have fans that push hot air to the floor, you can have the suspended ceiling at 35 degrees and be cold in the house and the floor not even have 10 degrees.

For air conditioning, which is to cool the house, it works pretty well.

The heat goes up so the floor heating works very well, the cold goes down so it doesn't work as well through the ceiling.

You can check in your home by placing a thermometer 5 inches above the floor, then halfway up and finally on the ceiling. The difference is very noticeable with radiators, it's barely noticeable with floor heating.
