We would like to extend our extension and install underfloor heating there. Now we have a problem with the ceiling height. Currently it is 190 cm. Underfloor heating is 25 cm high. So the heating engineer said that we have to go 35 cm lower than we have now so that we have a reasonable ceiling height. The current base is a concrete base slab. Now the question is, how do we get the base slab back into balance if we chisel/remove 35 cm from that base slab? Or can anyone tell me about the construction of the floor all the way down to the underfloor heating?
