I have an attic, the ceiling on the top floor is insulated. I have a completely different angle of slope (of the roof), I write only because of the storage of things in the "cold roof".
It's not like that in the summer, just the opposite, it's very hot up there. I wouldn't even put skis in there. Anything that can't stand the heat can't go in there. Sure, a Christmas tree stand and Christmas balls too, but what else?
