Just imagine how much support surface your shoe has at 25 cm. And when you go down the stairs. We have a semi-curved staircase, and when it moves fast, I go inside, and 10 cm is plenty.
In front of the house, however, I make full use of the 32cm where I often carry my shopping/pushchair.
