What type of window to choose – PVC, wood or aluminum?

Hello, I'm dealing with the topic of windows right now.

I've actually always wanted to have wood-aluminum windows. I have also considered the extra cost. I have been told that wood-aluminum is slowly disappearing from the market as it will rot on the outside under the aluminum in the long run.

Has anyone been doing this for a long time?

Pure aluminum windows are also rarely in demand in private homes.
