What kind of roller blinds for the upper floor – plastic or aluminum?

I would like to hear your opinion on the choice of roller blinds, as I am still undecided.

We have to choose aluminum or plastic roller shutter profiles for the upper floor.

I'm thinking of choosing the cheaper option. Just because I think if someone breaks into the house, they probably won't put up a ladder to get in upstairs. I would choose aluminum, which has easy access.

Am I wrong about that?
