How do I attach Quickdeck panels to an existing wood floor?

Please advise me what kind of screws I can use to attach the Quickdeck panels to the existing wood floor so that the panels are pushed down as far as possible. Man who makes the repairs said that the screws with full thread are all tightened, but I have doubts. I think that the incomplete thread would be better or pre-drill the panel with a drill bit equal to the diameter of the screw?

Fasten with partially threaded self-tapping screws, with the unthreaded portion longer than the panel thickness.
