Is there any alternative to windows with surface mounted shutter boxes?

Am about to change windows, what bothers about the surface mounted shutter box windows is that the shutter boxes take away a lot of light, space.
Completely do without shutters with 3 fach. Glazing and e.g. inside only Raffstore, blinds, does that work?

Front shutters is what it's called...but you can also do without shutters altogether...it's your house after all....

Take a complete system. Window with factory-installed roller shutter recommended. Not bad, but such a roller shutter box takes about 15cm+ takes away the window area.
