Skylights – what are the costs?

Does anyone know how much it costs to have a simple skylight cut into a regular gable roof? The roof is still uncovered and needs to be re-insulated. So the opportunity is a good one. But how much should I invest? It would be great if you could give me at least a rough idea of whether this is even possible. Any ideas?

Consider subsequent efforts. The vapor barrier/insulation has to be properly connected, the cladding (sheet rock or similar) takes a long time…

Always depends on size and changes, something standard around 1000.

$1,000 is a good price. Depending on the size and equipment, it could also be 900 or 2,000. Double-glazed plastic approx. 800, such as Roto.
