Our tiler contacted us about a grout material. He said he could also handle and recommend epoxy grout for wet areas.

What is your experience?

Yes. Epoxy grout is expensive. But totally cool! Waterproof and durable, even vapor-proof. Harmless to health when cured, until then you have to handle it carefully, but that's what it wants to do. It becomes very hard and elastic only to a very limited degree, sticks to everything like hell to fire, I assume that before the seam cracks, the tile cracks.

Epoxy is superfluous here. Unnecessary as an expansion joint. Unnecessary as a joint between tiles instead of a cement product.
