We recently bought a house. And almost every day we encounter things that need to be improved.
Can anyone tell us how to soundproof bathroom pipes passing through the ceiling of a room?
The problem is not critical, but we want to get it right.
Any advice is appreciated.

I assume that the pipe you are talking about is a drain or a drainage pipe, in such cases we use rock wool or polyurethane for insulation.

There are also sheets of rock wool with glued rubber that are ideal for soundproofing drains.
Choose either option.

If your ceiling is made of drywall, you can use polyurethane foam, cork boards, wool or fiberglass to reduce noise, but don't expect to be able to eliminate it completely.
