Why does the grout of the clinker brick joints have different colors?

About 2 weeks ago the grouting of the clinker bricks in our house was done. Now I saw yesterday (in the light) that the color of the joints is very different (see picture). How is this happening? Is the grout the culprit?

Your best bet is to ask the mason. You may have to wait for the top area to dry. It's hard to tell from the photo if it's a defect or not. It may be a defect.
