Will the cell service work in a metal siding house?
I like a house with metal siding with a log texture. But I doubt if the house will work well with cell phone service, is it dangerous in a thunderstorm?

If the windows are towards the station, there will be. If in the opposite direction and more than 1 km to the base station, it will not.
However, it depends on the height of the house. I have no signal on the 1st floor, only at the windows, but on the 2nd floor it's fine.
In our house, which was clad in corrugated siding, there was practically no cell service.
I worked on the attic floor, the roof was metal tile, the phone reception was very bad, everyone ran to the window to talk.
Wooden house is completely clad with metal profile. Communications without problems, but 4g internet is not everywhere.
In the building covered with metal profile, the connection works. Internet is working.
Obviously, there are windows and a roof that are not covered with metal.
I was visiting a man, the walls of the house are often reinforced with mesh – nothing worked in the house – no cell service, no radio, no TV. As soon as I stepped over the threshold, the radio waves stopped.
If the connection is stable until the house is finished, everything will be fine.
