Can I plaster over the foam after installing the door?

The handyman recently installed our front door. I desperately need advice and instructions on what to do next.

The aerated concrete bricks are encased in foam, can I plaster above it? Or do the bricks need to be scraped off the foam and covered with tile adhesive?

You need to clean the foam a little, so that it would not be smooth, grout the joints and you can plaster.

The door jamb on the right I would recommend to cover with plasterboard.
