What are the basic rules for installing gypsum stucco on facades?
I want to clad the corners with a rustic stone. What is the correct sequence for attaching gypsum stucco on facades?

To install the facade stucco, the first thing to do is to mark the mounting points. It is also necessary to clean the surface of the facade walls, rinse the fastening places with water, wait for complete drying. After that, prime the facade and the underside of each stucco element (I also advise you to pre-scratch the underside in the form of a grid, to ensure a more secure bond or treat with sandpaper).
Prepare the adhesive solution: mix the gypsum mixture with carpentry glue in the following proportions – 3 percent of the total weight of the adhesive solution.
Proceed to installation. The facade surface and the back of the stucco should be moistened with water, after which the adhesive is applied to the back side of the stucco elements with a brush.
Apply the element to the surface of the facade and gently press it down. After that, it will be necessary to remove the excess glue (it is convenient to do this with a spatula).
For reliability, large stucco elements can be placed on dowels.
The basic rule for installing gypsum stucco on a facade is not to use gypsum stucco on the facade. Gypsum is not designed for exterior work. There are cement, cement-gypsum-pozzolanic, as well as polyurethane stucco suitable for exterior work.
First you need to make a marking with a plumb line, level, tape measure and colored cord and pencil. Stucco is glued to mounting adhesives on a cement or polymer basis and additionally fixed with dowels or any other available method. Fixing the heavy elements can also be carried out with the help of dowels. The joints are lapped and sealed with waterproof putty in 2-3 passes and sanded.
unpainted stucco should be painted with facade paint, and colored impregnated with a hydrophobic impregnation or covered with a transparent acrylic water-dispersion varnish.
Installation of rustic stones begins with the preparation of the facade. Features of installation are as follows:
Everything begins with a marking, then a groove is cut in the stone, the depth should be approximately 60-70% of the total thickness. It is better to make the grooves in woven gloves, it and the hands will protect and avoid damage to the stone and reduce the contamination of the facial surface.
Further installation of anchors. The wall is pre-moistened, and glue is applied. The glue is also applied to the rustic stones.
Once the stucco is installed, make sure it does not move (until the glue dries completely). Only after it is completely dry can the support slats be removed. Use plastic mounting wedges to hold the joints between the stones.
If you get glue on the stones while laying, wash it off with plain water.
