Metal blockhouse vs. wood blockhouse?

I apologize for the question for dummies.

Baseline: wooden blockhouse is attached to the beam stupid, without everything. Accordingly, by default planned to bring it in line with the classic "sandwich". And that's where the sun-burnt side of the house regularly prompted the question:

What about using a metal block house styled to look like wood? At least for the sunlit side of the house. I saw one recently, and it looks pretty decent. The question is whether the breathing properties of pine are preserved, because the classic "sandwich" requires a ventilation "gap" of 3 cm. Is this 3 cm is enough, or the whole side of the beam should be completely open to the air?

You are describing the classic ventilated facade, you can use a metal block house finish ...

But keep in mind that the surface of the metal heats up more than wood.
