Over the weekend we went for a walk and inspected the interior doors. It was then that I first noticed that there were room doors without keyholes: Magnetic latch lock.

Are they worth the extra cost of the door?

Is the door lock really as easy to use in practice as promised? Do they break often?

Been using them for years. Very happy with them. The extra cost is reasonable, but the look is worth it.

And you just pull the door towards you without pushing the handle. It just makes a quiet clicking sound.

So far, there has never been a need for repair. I am currently installing it on my third property.

Goes great with doors without a rebate..

Magnetic latches are great. All of our interior doors have them.
