What do you have in your front door? An A-opener or a motor lock if a fingerprint is installed? What are the advantages from experience?

Motor lock. Fingerprint from ekey (ekey-net control)

A-Opener. Costs half, is less error prone, and is instantly open and inaudible.

Control depends on what you need. If you have only the front door, the ekey Home Mini is enough

I have both variants. A-opener was much cheaper and personally I am annoyed by the automatic, audible locking of the motor lock every time the door opens and closes.

We chose the motor lock because with the A-opener, in conjunction with fingerprint, the locked front door can no longer be opened.

So if someone wants to enter the house after "closing time", he can no longer use the fingerprint, but must unlock manually via key.

If the security provided by the 2 mechanically engaging hooks (in addition to the door catch) is basically sufficient, the A-opener is of course better for you.
