Open door inward or outward?

According to the architect's design, the living room door should open inwards from the hallway into the living room. After that, the tiler also laid the tiles in the hallway; see picture. If we think about it more carefully, it almost makes more sense to open this door – it should be a glass door – to the outside towards the hallway. There is more space. If the dining table in the living room would be extended for a long time, the open door would be in the way. But doesn't it look stupid if the part visible from the living room is tiled under the door frame? Vinyl will be installed in the living room.

Loosening the two tiles and laying new ones shouldn't be an act now either. I would make the door opening to the hallway.

If the door is to open towards the wall, then note the switches. They would be behind the door.

No, they aren't. The switches are where the handle is. And the handle is on the left. Instead of slamming the door into the room, the door to the hallway is opened.
