Can I remove coffee stains from a granite countertop?
I have a light-colored granite countertop that has coffee stains on it that have spilled and darkened. Is it possible to remove the stain? Or what is the solution?
Is there something I can do? Or does it mean I have to replace the countertop altogether?

The solution is that granite is a porous material and it's a little tricky, try using very hot water and lemon juice for 1 minute or so, wipe the area with a dry cloth and then with neutral soap.
If that doesn't work, it's best to call in the professionals to have the marble sanded.
I'm afraid that unless experts in granite, marble, etc. tell you otherwise, granite is porous, coffee absorbed at a deeper level than a surface stain would be considered for removal by sanding and polishing.
But you can try for stains from organic foods such as tea, coffee or fruit, combine hydrogen peroxide (about 12×100) with 2 drops of ammonia.
